Smart Shooter systems are compact. The standard ones weigh around 165 lbs. (75 kg.) and are no more than 37 inches (95 cm.) high. However, lightweight versions can be fitted with guns and even machine guns.
A recent development, the system was first used in September 2022 by the Israeli army to disperse protests in Palestine. However, sponge balls were used instead of live fire.
According to Debka, the system is installed on light aircraft and drones to destroy Iranian drones in Ukraine. Ukrainian Command has not officially commented and the information currently needs to be verified.
