A large depot of ammunition and equipment of the Russian invaders near Skadovsk, Kherson region, was destroyed on Sunday, July 31.

“Yesterday, another depot of ammunition and military equipment, which the enemy brought from Crimea, was destroyed near Skadovsk. The enemy delivered a large amount of fuel and lubricants to the outskirts of Skadovsk, putting them behind sewage treatment plants,” said Serhiy Khlan, a member of the Kherson Regional Council.

According to him, there was also a lot of engineering equipment brought to repair damaged logistics arteries, in particular, the Antonivka Bridge

Khlan noted that the invaders were trying to disguise the tanks as trucks by welding frames with camouflage nets on them but this does not save them.

“This location was destroyed by a very skillful missile strike. By the way, fire is raging there from evening till morning, locals report that they have never seen such a flame… it’s higher than a five-story building,” Khlan noted.

According to unconfirmed information, he added, a fire broke out today at an enemy depot near Kalanchak.

As reported, the Armed Forces of Ukraine keep under fire control the logistical and transport arteries of the Russian troops in the temporarily captured Kherson region. In particular, on the night between Friday and Saturday, a high-precision HIMARS strike destroyed a 40-wagon train which arrived from Crimea carrying manpower, equipment, and ammunition to the Brylivka railway station of Kherson region.

According to partisans, this transfer of equipment indicates a shortage of weapons in the Kursk sector, which is being compensated for by moving resources from currently less active frontline areas.
