The Ukrainian army continues to attack military targets in the Kherson region. Every day, the Antonivsky and Kakhovskiy bridges are targeted to inhibit supply lines and cut off Russian forces on the right bank of the Dnipro River.

On Aug. 22, the Armed Forces of Ukraine officially confirmed a new attack on the Antonivsky bridge. According to eyewitnesses, the bridge “fell apart.” Nataliya Humenyuk, spokeswoman for General Command of Ukrainian Armed Forces “South,” confirmed that the Russian occupiers would not be able to restore the bridge.

“The Antonivsky bridge is a key transport routes that the Russians are trying to restore, but they realize now that they cannot repair the structure with just a bucket of concrete,” she said at the briefing.
