Ukraine has withstood and triumphed over the winter terror of the Russian Federation. The EU also did not freeze without Russian gas," stressed the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Dmytro Kuleba.

"On March 1, 2023, Putin suffered his fifth major defeat since the day of the full-scale invasion - Ukraine defeated the winter terror. We have endured the hardest winter in our history. We were cold and dark but indestructible," he wrote on Facebook on Wednesday.

The minister added that the EU has also won despite Moscow's blackmail and didn't "freeze" without Russian gas, as Kremlin predicted.

"One piece of advice to Russia: choke on your gas and choke on your missiles," Kuleba wrote.

According to the Foreign Minister, the first defeat of the Russian Federation was when Ukraine did not allow Putin to paralyze the country and its citizens with fear on the first dais of the full-scale offensive.

"The second defeat was when we thwarted the plan of the Russian blitzkrieg. Ukraine has not fallen in three days, seven days, a month, or a year. And it will never fall," Kuleba said.

The third defeat was suffered by the Russian Federation on the diplomatic front, the Foreign Minister stressed, and the fourth defeat was the loss by Russia of a large number of occupied territories of Ukraine as a result of effective actions and counter-offensives of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the rest of the Defense Forces of Ukraine.
