“Police partially established the initiators of riots in the capital, and the involvement of these people in the events in the center of the capital has been reported by activists who have recently been detained by police officers. In particular, unlawful actions committed outside the Cabinet of Ministers were organized with the active participation of about 100 citizens whose actions were coordinated by citizen named Andriy Feschuk. Those involved in offences near the Presidential Administration were more than 300 members of the Bratstvo radical organization, who acted under the direction of Dmytro Korchynsky,” reads a statement posted on the Facebook page of the Interior Ministry.
The statement also notes “the detainees reported that disorder near the building of Kyiv City State Administration was accompanied by a representative of the Svoboda All-Ukrainian Union named Miroshnichenko.”
