Thousands of hard copies of the book will be published and provided free by Nash Format, Spencer said.
His personal webpage says Spencer is a “veteran of urban warfare having two urban centric combat centric deployments to Iraq during the invasion in 2003 and again in Baghdad in 2008.”
The biography says he regularly consults for the U.S. army, the United Nations and “many other military and national security organizations.”
Since Russia’s renewed invasion of Ukraine on Feb. 24, the battle for control of the Donetsk regional city of Mariupol has become the most watched urban conflict in the war. A combined force of some 1,000 Ukrainian servicemen is besieged and trapped at the Azov steel plant located near the Azov Sea coast.
