Russian military forces launched a new missile attack on the Odesa region during the night of Oct. 7, as confirmed by Oleg Kiper, the head of the region's military administration.
The strike involved the use of supersonic anti-ship missiles of the "Onyx" typewhich were fired from the territory of occupied Crimea.

According to Kiper, the attack caused damage to several structures, including a boarding house and a granary located near the port.
The city of Chernomorsk, known for its major port, was among targets hit. Multiple apartment buildings in the city sustained damage, including shattered windows.
The rocket fragments and the explosive wave led to a fire breaking out in a garage cooperative.
Initial reports indicate that four people were injured as a result of the attack.
