Detectives of the Economic Security Bureau of Ukraine (ESBU) uncovered a 1,600 square meter warehouse filled with humanitarian aid of unknown origin in Lviv region, as reported by the Territorial Department of Bureau in Lviv region on April 25.
Around 60 trucks were needed to deliver discovered humanitarian items to the warehouse. They include food, clothes, household chemicals, bed linen, children’s goods, etc. For example, ESBU detectives found 74 tons of canned food worth $0.5 million.

“Now we are [investigating] how these goods got to the territory of Ukraine, why they were not distributed and we are checking information about the possible sale of humanitarian aid,” said acting Head of Bureau’s Territorial Department Valeriy Tatsienko.
The pre-trial investigation is ongoing.
